Will I Be Able To Update My Site?

After beginning to research their website options, one of the first questions many people ask is "Will I be able to update my site, or is that something you will be doing for me?" And it's a great question.

Our answer: What would you prefer?

  • Updating Option #1 - Updates by timeforcake

    timeforcake updates your site's content: This option is recommended for individuals and companies with smaller budgets and who plan to have sites that won't require regular updating. We make updates to your site per your requests, and those updates are simply billed hourly (with a 1/4 hour minimum).

  • Updatin Option #2 - Updates by You

    You update and control ALL your site's content: This option is recommended for individuals and companies who plan to have sites that will require regular updates, changes, and additions. For this option, timeforcake integrates a powerful Content Management System (CMS) into your site that allows you to quickly, easily, and securely update all of your content with the click of a few buttons. The integration of a complete, site-wide CMS incurs a larger upfront cost (usually starting around $1500 - $2000), but also ensures that low to no maintenance costs are incurred after the site's launch, as all content updating can be managed internally).

  • Updating Option #3 - A Few Updates by You, a Few by Us

    You control A BIT of your site's content: This option is recommended for individuals and companies that have websites where only a few sections of content need regular updating -- perhaps just a "Latest News" section or an "Upcoming Events" page. Instead of integrating a full-site Content Management System (as in Option B), we are able to integrate a "mini" Content Management System that gives you control over pre-determined areas of text (and/or photos) within your site. All changes that cannot be made with the mini Content Management System would be made by timeforcake. This option is cheaper than Option B.
