Off To Speak At the CFC Conference in San Francisco
Tomorrow morning I'm flying from Denver to San Francisco to present at the annual Creative Freelancer Conference.
I'll be speaking on Sunday to creative freelancers about "problem projects", and sharing with them a little-known concept that will completely change how they look at project roadblocks—and help them prevent them in the future.
Additionally, I'll be moderating a breakfast roundtable that morning on the topic of "disappearing clients" and sharing helpful tips on preventing and dealing with clients who disappear into thin air mid-project.
On top of getting to head back to the Bay Area where I grew up and see my family, I'm very much looking forward to connecting with industry friends from the social media world I've not yet met in real life (such as technical writer Alisa Bonsignore), friends I rarely get to connect with (such as creative communicator Robin Ridley of Parfait Studio), and friends I speak/work with regularly but not in real life as they live so far away (such as Ilise Benun of Marketing Mentor and Tiffany Estes of Whole Brain Creative).
See you next week, everyone!
